I am passionate about being a nurse & assisting my consumers in their walk toward health, arming them with the tools to make informed health decisions & becoming their own health advocates. This is what case management is all about, walking along side our consumers to help them in their health journey.
SOV-CMSA educational programs help us as case managers to build on our knowledge base to assist our consumers as well as meet our ccm hours requirement. As SOV-CMSA has helped me as a case manager, I have decided to give back to this great organization by serving on the SOV-CMSA board. As we all give back to the SOV-CMSA organization by volunteering/serving on committees & the board, it makes the load lighter by sharing the work so consider doing what I did by volunteering so that our SOV-CMSA can continue strong to meet the mission of educational programs for case managers.
